Millet Porridge (also called Millet Ganji, or Millet Daliya, or Millet Gaanji, or Millet Gruel) is a good and healthy replacement of other drinks like tea, coffee, and other western breakfast meals like corn-flake, cereals etc. In past, our parents would begin their day by consuming Daliya (made with water), and it was considered to be a full and nutritious meal.
Eating/drinking Millet Daliya/Ganji will improve your food cravings, as well as keep you full for longer and it is healthy and can be consumed by all age groups. Here we bring you Millet Daliya/Ganji recipe as proposed by Dr Khadar Valli – the Millet Man of India.

Dr. Saheb, salam,
Can your team release a chart in which you can show the importance of millet/daliya and some best fruits for type II diabetics.
I will appreciate it.
I wish you God’s speed and hope you will change this world.
Thanks
Salim

Dear reader, how can I buy millets which are authenticated by dr.valli…thanks
Dear Hitesh – it is really hard for Dr to verify each produce, but he has given guidelines on how we as consumers can choose best grains, millet, and there are some ways to ensure that we get the right millet. I suggest you to check the comparison table that shall give you a basic idea on which grains are best, and further, do check that the the millet (positive millet) you buy are unpolished and are hand-pounded. Machine processing, kills most of the nutrients. Try and source from local farmers.
Here is the comparison table – https://www.wholesometales.com/nutrients-fiber-in-grains-millet-siridhanya/
