Four simple ways I changed to awesome wholesome life…

I bought a slow juicer…

Its delicious way to consume fresh fruits and veggies. Ever since I have bought my slow juicer, I have not skipped a day without green juice. My slow juicer is my greatest possession, and never knew such device actually exists.

I love the way it does works. It is superb with leafy greens. It extracts juices till last drop of it, and all you get is dry pulp, and I mean it! Even I can make nut milk (almond milk, soy milk…).

That’s actually value for money. As said by my friend Rupinder Kaur (from Raw Rasoi) “its real health insurance”. I bought my juicer on her recommendation and did my first detox under her guidance.

So what are you waiting for?? Start juicing today and flood up your body with lots of fruits and vegetables. You can check for slow juicers here

Stocking more greens…

Stocking real food is very important if you want to live a wholesome and healthy lifestyle. Now I am a conscious buyer and eater. Having healthy ingredients at hand makes healthy eating easier. Trust me, if you have real food in stock, you will not have junk foods or not crave for it.

Generally I stock greens that is sufficient for 3-4 days, anyways it is always better to consume your green leafy vegetables within 2-3 days. I do not cook most of my green leafy vegetables, e.g. spinach, parsley, lettuce can be used in raw form in green juices, smoothies and in salads, while coriander and mint go well in chutneys and dips!

Shopping more at Organic farmer’s market…

Sunday is our nature day of the week, and it starts at 8am with trip to Organic Market. It’s my routine to visit Gurgaon Organic Farmer’s Market. Its our favorite way to start every week afresh.

I quit Sugar

Despite of being really carefully in picking the ingredients, way of cooking, I always felt that something was not right, as I would get sick once a year, may be seasonal cold, or flu, or viral or other ailments, so was constantly in search of “whats really wrong”, and one of the eye opening discovery was this thing called “sweet poison”, a very common “refined sugar”.
